Happy St. Patrick Day

Thread Crochet wee Irish Cottage, Hand crocheted with cotton thread. It is a decorative potholder, vintage style. I applied magnets on the bag and I decorate my fridge for St. Patricks Day. I enjoy making these, and have several for different times of year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of my favorite holidays! Some of my ancestors are from Ireland, on my father's side. I really do love to decorate for the spring holidays, Easter & St. Patrick Day. This month they fall in the same month so I decorated a wee bit early to get me St. Patrick's Day fix in. 

 

 

 Celtic Knot Mandala

This was a birdhouse I picked up at a nursery. I love the mossy green sides,and natural twig roof. When I got it home I knew it would not be going outside. It is a Fairy House, and so I decorated to welcome the wee folk. There is one crochet piece on here, you see it don't you? A Celtic knot just above the doorway.
